About Me

For a little over 25 years, I made a living as a software developer with several computer and consulting companies in Orange County, California. I've also worked as a life and health insurance agent, and have some experience in project management.

Currently, I hold a position as a project coordinator for PermaCity Solar, Inc.. in Long Beach, California, helping to facilitate the design, installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic energy generation systems for medium- to large-sized businesses.

On the side, and more important to this venture, I'm an avid student of public speaking (through Toastmasters International) and improvisation (with a local theater company).

My wife and I live in the beautiful city of Mission Viejo (the site of the 1984 Summer Olympics road course cycling event), just north of historic San Juan Capistrano, and only a 25-minute drive south of Disneyland.

Born and raised in Southern California, I graduated from Hawthorne High School (home of the Beach Boys), and received a BSE in Computer Science and Engineering from California State University Long Beach.

In June of 1999, I joined Toastmasters International and began to develop and practice public speaking and leadership skills. I strongly encourage you to learn more about what membership in Toastmasters can do for you by visiting their website: www.toastmasters.org.

I am passionate about public speaking, and look forward to helping more people have the same positive experiences I have had thus far.
